Welcome to my hiking blog!

I've been blogging about decorating on my main blog "My Romantic Home" for almost 6 years but recently I found a new passion...Hiking!

I joined a hiking group and have been hiking about 5-11 miles every Saturday for the last 6 weeks. My reason for hiking is to lose some weight and gain some muscle tone but I think the best thing I'm getting out of it is the feeling of accomplishment when I finish a long, hard hike!

This blog is my way of keeping track of my hikes.  I hope you enjoy your visit here!

  3. Is there a group that you hooked up with to find out about hiking. Sounds like a wonderful way to get into shape.

I AM PROUD OF YOU...YOU GO GIRL.
I WISH THEY HAD A HIKING GROUP IN MY STATE OF WINDY OKLAHOMA. boy I would be really sore after 3 miles so take a bow.I will pray for you every saturday, their will be no mountain lions and all goes well and no weapon formed against you will prosper and the angels of protection surround you and your group.
I didn't know that moss grew in the trees...I thought that only happened in the south.
Take care Ms. Cindy, Romantic Hiking Diva.
